Cohesion is used to denote the intra-module strength. It is a relationship among elements within a module. A system designer should aim at minimizing coupling and maximizing cohesion to get a modular design.
A good design is characterized by followings:
A good design is characterized by followings:
- Low coupling i.e. low interdependence between the modules.
- High cohesion i.e. high inter relationship within the elements of a single module.
Cohesion is a measure of the relationship of elements within a module.
